Privacy
You tell us about your hot water system so we can get back to you about the job. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
What the service request collects
- Your name and phone number. The form needs both so we can reply.
- Your email and your suburb, if you give them.
- The system you ticked and what is happening, picked from the list, and anything you write in the box.
- The page you sent it from.
Why, and who sees it
We use it to answer your request. We may share it with a suitable local hot water provider to service your request.
We do not sell your details. We do not add you to a mailing list, and this site has no newsletter.
What the site notes when you visit
- Visits are counted on our server: the page, the site that linked you here, your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. Your IP address is not kept.
- If a script on a page fails, your browser sends us the error, the page address and your connection type, so we can fix it.
- The pages load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to count visits and see how the site is used, and Google handles that data under its own privacy policy: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- When a request goes through, the page tells Tag Manager that a request was sent and from which page. Your name and contact details are not part of that.
- If you tap the phone number, the page sends one note that a call may be coming from this site. Nothing about you is in it.
Spam
The form has one hidden field that people never see. Automated spam fills it in, and those submissions are dropped.
A copy, a correction, or deletion
Send a service request with the name and phone number you used, and pick “Something else”. Say whether you want a copy of what we hold, a correction, or everything deleted.
